Shenzhen Zhongli Legal Services Society (the “Society”) was established in February 2017 under the unified arrangements of the Guangdong Law Society. It was initiated by the Shenzhen Law Society, with the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of Political and Legal Affairs as its competent authority. The Society is a private non-enterprise organization committed to neutrality, objectivity, public interest and professionalism.
The Society provides an independent and objective legal-services platform from a third-party perspective. Its mission is to support Party and government authorities, help resolve difficulties faced by the public, and contribute to the development of the rule of law.
The Society may assist with complex public complaints and petitions referred by political and legal authorities, provide legal consultation and guidance, explain laws and policies, and offer independent third-party assessments in legislation, law enforcement and adjudication. Since its establishment, the Society has promoted service stations across Shenzhen and has actively contributed to legal research, legal consultation and public legal education together with the Shenzhen Law Society and its specialist associations.
